If you, like many are struggling to think of ways for a fun and adventurous Hen Do, then girls it’s time to think of that different something to Do! After all, it is ok to plan your own Hen Do!

When it comes to matrimonial traditions, normally the Bride hands over all Hen Do duties to the Maid of Honour and Bridesmaids and the Hen just turns up, ready to join in with whatever is thrown at her – sometimes literally!

Increasingly though, more and more Brides are taking on the organising of the Hen Do. Sometimes this is out of necessity and sometimes out of a preference to not end up with a Hen Do that’s not to their liking – whether that’s having a large inflatable part of a man’s anatomy strapped to you so you can be ridiculed down at the local pub or downing cocktails in a posh gin bar or maybe a more relaxing day by getting your nails done

Now girls, this one is not for the faint hearted! Canyoning is an incredible activity that will challenge the whole Hen Party, push you to your limits and reward everyone with a huge sense of achievement and a real feeling of teamwork at the end of it.

This session involves abseiling down a waterfall rock face, leaping into natural water pools, scrambling over rocks and finding the best way over the rough terrain. If you’ve ever wanted to feel like Lara Croft, this is the perfect chance to do so!

Finally, if you’re looking for a thrilling and unusual way to get down the river Findhorn, then your hen party needs river tubing with cliff jumping! Refreshing and totally hilarious, it’s the perfect hangover cure!

The guides will go through a safety briefing on how to handle your huge inflatable donut, so you can rest assured you’ll be in safe hands. Just hold on tight and enjoy the ride! Yes girls, glamping is the perfect “after” activity for adventurous outdoor loving hens who want to escape to the country and give the bride-to-be a glamping “Hen Do” to remember after an ACE day on the river Findhorn.

Think camping, but instead of an uncomfortable thin sleeping mat, think comfy thick mat. Instead of a cold, miserable, damp tent, think bell tent with wood burner and space for up to seven Hens in each one.Yip, glamping is definitely better.

Outside, you’ll also have your own private fire pit which doubles up as a BBQ. There’s fireside log seating, too, so you and the girls can sit around and toast a few marshmallows in the evening as you chill out under the stars with a glass of vino in hand. Perfect!

A short stroll from your canvas haven, you’ll find our clean and comfortable toilet/shower block with flushing loos and hot showers. We even have an outside kitchen area with cooking and washing up facilities.
