The site lies just eight miles from the town of Forres in Moray, which has shops, restaurants and supermarkets. Both huts are made of wood and boast a shabby chic interior design, with eco-friendly, low voltage solar lighting.

Features include a sprung, full-size double bed with hypoallergenic pillows and duvet with cotton linen. There’s a wood burner and basket of logs to keep you warm, as well as a dresser and double ring gas cooking hob for preparing meals. The hut is fully equipped with pans, plates and cutlery as well as a whistling kettle, we can also provide a cool box on request.

Each hut has its own tranquil outdoor space with seating area and fire pit where you can sit and watch the stars. The pit comes with a heavy-duty BBQ skillet for outdoor cooking. For families and larger groups, we also provide bell tents which can sleep up to seven people and come with mattresses, a wood burning stove and fairy lights. It may not be as lavish as staying in a shepherd’s hut, but you can bring your own luxuries along to create a glamping experience.

Our bell tents are set in an area of unspoiled woodland and each has its own outdoor space with seating area, fire pit and BBQ skillet. You’ll also have access to hot water showers and toilets, as well as a communal outdoor cooking area. The tents are set close to reception where you can find electric charging points, wifi and a kiosk.
